Dylan and Tommy discovered Tinkertoys. I had Joseph's set from over 20 years ago. Here is the Swing they buildt. The Swing Loving the leftover Ebelskiver's from breakfast. The "Delta Spaceship" that Dylan built with Tinkertoys. Our additional guests at dinner. The rottwieler and the lobster. What a conversation the SIX of us had. and of course ... Wii ... More Tinkertoys... before heading for bed. DAY THREE: Dylan and new friend Joshua (grandson of Rhonda, girlfriend on Lake Santa Fe) stays the night. They are watching "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs"... a real horror film... can't you tell! Tommy went home for the night and declared a Pineapple Throwdown. Hannah and Mason loved being the judges. DAY FOUR: Tommy arrives with mom and they decided to have lunch on the deck. Swimming lesson were happening all week. Here is Tommy learning how to float. Think ... imaginary string pulling your tummy to the sky! Here is Dylan practicing kicking on his back. Tommy builds a Tinkertoy Microphone and strikes a pose. We later had a mini concert (on video) with a Tinkertoy guitar too. Dylan made a working elevator that was almost as tall has he is. Another Wii moment! Waiting on Mamalisa getting her nails done! YAY ... finally some junk food. Root Beer Float with Granddaddy! They really liked the stainless steel straws that were spoons too. ahhhh.... finishing the day in style! DAY FIVE: Pizza Throwdown Learning how to knead the dough. and Rolling the dough.... and adding the toppings. Tommy made a Cheese Lovers Pizza. Dylan made a Meat Lovers. Meat Lovers Into the oven ... Cheese Lovers into the oven.... The Judges ... with thier official ballots. (Granddaddy, Tori and Joshua). Pizzas were judged on Taste and Appearance. It ended up a TIE!!! and really both were very good. Tommy decided that he was going to declare the winner since he tasted both of them, he decided that Dylan's was the winner! Dylan chimed in and said HE had tasted them both and Tommy's was better. Results? Still a tie. Fishing with Granddaddy off the dock. Ending another day in style ... this time in Grandaddy's rainshower! DAY SIX: Heading to Orlando. First stop at Nana's and Poppa's in Ocala. Next Stop... Kennedy Space Center This was the flight deck on one of the shuttles. Meeting a real astronaut. Richared A. Searfoss STS 58, 76, 90 Dinner with Uncle Carter and Stephanie to celebrate his birthday. DAY SEVEN: Typhoon Lagoon Dylan on the slide. Tommy on the slide. Waiting for the Surfing Wave with Grandaddy... About to get pushed! Treat for the dat back at the hotel... Virgin Strawberry Daquari's. Tommy learning how to use chopsticks. He diligently ate rice ... kernal by kernal! Final night at Camp Johnson...eating sushi at a Japanese Restaurant in Orlando Florida.
